Imagine
this scene…You’re standing in front of an audience with people very interested in learning what you know. You're using a hypnosis application seminar to share your information secrets. You LOVE what you’re doing. The audience loves hearing your secrets. They use them to solve pressing problems.
During the seminar, you slowly and methodically answer questions, get the group to interact and basically express your ideas in a storytelling format. The audience loves being involved in the seminar and thinks you’re amazing.
Now, imagine you’ve completed conducting the seminar. People come up to you. They shake your hand, telling you how much they appreciate you sharing your problem-solving knowledge. They go over to a table that contains your products and they purchase them. You feel a strong sense of fulfillment. You have shared knowledge that really made a difference to these people.
Now, how to you connect with clients to make this actually happen? By building meaningful business to business relationships. Where do you start building your contacts? At trade fairs, conventions, conferences, anywhere people meet!
Imagine actually financially supporting yourself by doing hypnosis full-time. In order to attract clients, you MUST let people know you are in business. You can do that by creating a realistic marketing plan for you.
First, decide whom you wish to serve. After you decide that, for at least three or four days a week you must intentionally do some type of solution-sharing-secret marketing with your target market.
You intentionally contact people, sales managers or human resources people most likely. Do some research on the Internet. Look for articles that might be of interest to your target market. Call up businesses telling them you feel eager to support the community. In keeping with this mindset, tell the sales manager or human resources person you are sending him or her an article you thought might be beneficial to them. Your motive must be genuine!
Are you willing to do what is necessary to succeed in your business? If so, you can operate a successful business by providing ideas that help your target market’s customers.
Research shows that businesses doing things to improve career, finances or relationships prosper. If you discover this to be true, will you create your own hypnosis application seminar, or CD or video program that provides solutions for your clients? They are looking for you…craving your secrets to live a fulfilled life. But where do you find these secrets others desire to share?
Write out a list of your life experiences. Within those life experiences you’ll find what information secrets you’d love to share. Then, go to the Internet and do your market research. Look at forums and see what people are complaining about. To solve their challenges, write a hypnosis-application CD or book. Then, send them information nuggets that help them solve a problem that’s found in your CD or book.
I encourage hypnotists to fill a unique niche market rather than work with anybody. My niche is doing things to create or improve happy relationships by sharing knowledge about brain dialog and brain fitness. What do you LOVE to do? The thing you love doing is more than a hobby…it’s a passion. What do you PASSIONATELY love to do and would do whether you got paid to do it or not? THAT would probably be a lucrative niche. However, remember to do your market research first to discover if it’s a big enough market to financially support your products and services. Focus on helping people solve problems and you’ll do fine.
Imagine that you know “secret” information that answers someone's problem. When you share this information with those who need it. You are considered a trusted, reliable resource. But before you can share “secret” information, you must decide what secret information to share.
So, what do you know, that you might think is ordinary and commonplace but is actually craved by a niche market? What do you know that you LOVE to teach, be involved in, dream about, etc..? When you do what you love, the money will follow.
YOU are an expert at something, probably more than one “something.” So, that means, if you choose to share an expertise, which expertise will you share? To narrow things down, consider choosing some expertise that improves a person’s career, finances or improves or promotes meaningful relationships. Within these 3 key areas, most people can enjoy what they do. If you do a job just for money, you’ll probably feel disappointed. So, do what you love to do. Share your secrets with others in a hypnosis application way.
A market exists for literally anything. To do niche marketing, decide whom you wish to serve. Do you wish to serve children as your niche market? Men? Women? Electricians? Artists? When you decide whom you wish to serve, the next step is to connect with them by sharing answers that solve their unique problems.
Once you decide which market to serve, listen for their complaints. Those complaints are actually unsolved problems. Make solving their problems your main business life mission. Within your general mission, focus on resolving one project at a time.
You fulfill projects by sharing “secrets” to happiness for that niche market. So, what secrets will you share to solve your niche market’s unique problems/projects? These will be information secrets generally based or including hypnosis.
Just as you build meaningful relationships with personal friends, by sharing
secrets your niche craves to know, build business relationships with business
people. You do this by sharing common interests relevant to your niche market.
Sharing valuable problem-solving information that results in a mutual benefit
to you and your niche market, you’ll quickly be known as a trusted
resource. In my opinion, this is the best way to stay in business.
